Spring Chilson Pond Races

This is the annual Spring hovercraft races held on Chilson Pond at the Brighton State Recreation Area! Come enjoy the beautiful Spring Michigan weather and some fast-paced hovercraft action!

Weekend Schedule

Friday

(3:00p - 6:00p) - Race Site Setup

Saturday

(9:30a - 12:00p) - Registration & Safety Inspections

(11:00a - 11:30a) - Drivers Meeting (required to race)

(11:30a - 12:00p) - Practice Session

(12:00p - 1:00p) - Lunch Break

(1:00p - 5:00p) - Racing Session (at least 3 heats of racing)

(6:00p - 7:00p) - Dinner and Awards

Sunday

(10:00a - 10:30a) - Drivers Meeting

(12:00p - 2:00p) - Endurance Race + Additional Heat Racing

(2:00p) - Race Site Teardown

Camping - UNAVAILBLE AT BISHOP LAKE CAMPGROUND DURING THIS EVENT DUE TO CONSTRUCTION
