Pushed back one week this year to avoid Father's Day weekend.
This is a great event to test a new craft or modification. The Wisconsin River is known for is numerous sandbars that provide nearly limitless options to stop and make adjustments or just enjoy the picturesque views of the driftless region. This is unique area that escaped the bulldozing affects of the glaciers during the last ice age. Muscoda is ideally located in the center of the last 80 mile stretch of the river. Pilots have the option to cruise 40 miles up river to the dam in Prarie du Sac or 40 miles down river to the Mississippi River. We typically cruise about 20 miles up river to the Riverside Resort in Spring Green for lunch on Saturday. From there the group typically splits up to enjoy the river how ever they like. With reasonably priced camping on site and several hotels in Richland Center and Boscobel it's one of the most convenient and hovercraft friendly events in the country. Registration is not required and spectators are always welcome.
Hoverally is back on the Wisconsin River, but in an all new location! This year it will be held in Sauk City Wisconsin, which is 40 miles up river from Muscoda. This site is similar to Muscoda, but with many more amenities close by. Camping, Hotels, Groceries, Gas, Boat Launch, and many Restaurants are all within walking distance. There are also several local attractions if you or your group are not on the river.
