We are going to cruise the beautiful Whitewater River in South Eastern Indiana October 15rd 2016. We will launch from Morgan's Canoe Livery, Brookville Indiana.
From Interstate 74 in Indiana take exit 164 towards Old State Rte 1, St Leon
Continue left (N) to US 52 W
Go 4.6 miles on US 52 W to Blue Creek Road on the left
Turn Left on Blue Creek Road and go .3 miles to Whitewater River Ln on the left.
Go Left on Whitewater River Lane to Morgan's Canoe.

Don't worry if you are going to be a little late, these things are usually slow to start. We will cruise upriver to the Laurel Dam on Saturday  and just mess around on Sunday.

There are about 40 river miles of winding beautiful river to enjoy. You will come upon sharp turns, tight riffles, gravel and sand bars, lots of birds and great fishing for those inclined. We will cruise from Morgan's Canoe Livery on the west side of the river (across from Brookville) there is a 17 mile up river portion from Brookville that is even more beautiful but challenging.

For those that would like to stay and hover Sunday we are reserving 2 small cabins that have a bunk bed and a full in each. Not much of a Ritz but the Morgans are opening the bath and shower facilities for us. By about 7:00 pm we will be thru hovering, retrieving, swimming, and so on and will have a hamburger dinner for those that stay.

There is an adequate launch and takeout  at Morgan's but we will probably not be able to water launch and retrieve.

Saturday evening we will have a cookout and tell some lies. There is a nice shelter at Morgan's and the lodge will be open for bad weather alternatives.

Come join us for a great cruise!!!

PS Make sure to register so I can plan the meals.
(I'll collect a small $ for meal reimbursement at the cruise)

Thanks
