Human Powered Hovercraft Plans

Price: $24.95 for 2 different sets of plans.

Comments: These human powered designs are constructed from easy to find parts and materials. The main thing you need is an old bicycle. Universal Hovercraft has been active in the Hoverclub of America and children for over 20 years. Great for science fairs! Estimated construction cost is less than $100.

Comments: A real working hovercraft capable of carrying one person weighing up to about 200 lbs at a speed of up to 30 mph. Most construction materials are available locally. Estimated construction cost is $1000. This design qualifies for HCA entry level racing.
